Our 2019 Petit Verdot presents a complex aroma of raspberry, dark chocolate, and plum preserves. On the palate, this wine offers more dark chocolate and concentrated fruit notes with beautifully balanced tannins and a lift of acidity. Well integrated oak imparts roasted
espresso bean flavors adding elegance and roundness to the finish. Riverside Vineyard continues to be one of the best blocks of grapes we get to make into wine every year, truly a winemaker's and staff favorite!

I didn't realize until looking now, we used the exact same blender varietals from the exact same vineyards in 2019 as we did in the 2018, just slightly lower percentages overall in 2019. Its funny how these wines sometimes just seem to work well together!
In addition to the dark fruit notes often found in the nose on this wine, there is always a subtle violet flora presence in support. On the palate, this wine is rich and robust with lots of fruit to go around. Always a crowd pleaser!
