This Malbec is produced from our estate vineyards located in three unique meso-climates of the Grand Valley. A deep, fruit forward-styled wine bursting with fragrant notes of black currants and white pepper.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION 98% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot
Deep violet hues in the glass match the dark fruit profile of our 2019 Malbec. On the palate, the wine is round and juicy with acid and tannins balanced beautifully in the mid-palate. The wine lingers long on the finish with notes of ripe plum and subtle peppercorn spice. Pairs beautifully with a wide range of foods including Argentinian skirt steaks with chimichurri sauce, pineapple teriyaki salmon, slow-cooked braised brisket tostadas, grilled mushroom caps, beef empanadas, and spaghetti Bolognese.

Unlike 2018, we've used just a touch of Petit Verdot as a blender for our Malbec in 2019. Both varietals produce excellent color here in the Grand Valley and the result is a deep, dark red wine like we've never made before!
