Production Notes
2017 represents the first vintage we’ve incorporated Cabernet Franc grown at Scott’s Vineyard. As an individual component, the Scott’s Vineyard Cabernet Franc developed a savory-focused nose with some bright red fruit notes. The wine displays intense yet balanced acid and fruitfulness, a key component to the vibrant and juicy mid-palate in our finished wine.
Winemaker Notes
In the glass, the 2017 Colterris Grand Valley Cabernet Franc begins with dark fruit notes of black cherry and plum supported by notes of rose petals, dark chocolate covered espresso bean and roasted sweet red pepper. Soft mid-palate tannins add complexity and length to the palate before finishing with a lift of acid.
Food Pairing Notes
• Cherry glazed roasted pork tenderloin with roasted root veggies • Colorado Elk burger with sweet potato chips

A friend brought this over and it was fabulous. Never had it before but will try and get more. I found it very smooth and full bodied.
