A deep, fruit forward styled wine with notes of spicy black current and pepper. The majority of these Malbec grapes are grown on the southern slope at the highest elevation of Scott’s Vineyard overlooking the Grand Valley on East Orchard Mesa, Palisade. Pairs well with grilled meats, pasta and ripe cheeses.

The 2015 vintage is our first release of Malbec wine. Scott’s Vineyard has a unique meso-climate for grape growing because it’s the highest elevation vineyard in the Grand Valley. The cooler evening temperatures and more intense solar radiation allow for the grapes to develop rich floral aromas, greater complexity and concentration. The wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 10 months and was bottled in August 2016.
