Continuing the Legacy

Plum Creek Cellars, founded in 1984, was one of Colorado’s oldest and most influential modern-day wineries. The wines from Plum Creek were the first to gain widespread national recognition and chart the course for the future of Colorado’s premium wine industry. Colterris is proud to continue this legacy and pay a special tribute to these wine pioneers by creating Plum Creek Heritage Wines.

Located in Palisade off of Highway 6, the Colterris Collections will house over 16,000 pieces of Wine Memorabilia (displays coming soon) with a gorgeous tasting room and outdoor courtyard! Come view history through the Lens of Wine while enjoying a glass or bottle of our 100% estate grown, produced, and bottled wines! Colterris and Plum Creek Heritage wines by-the-glass, can, or bottle, along with select picnic items are also available for purchase in our tasting rooms. Reservations or Walk-ins are welcome! Current Release Heritage Wines

2022 Festival White

A Plum Creek classic wine to enjoy on a perfect summer day is here. The Festival White is a bright and crisp white blend with a tinge of sweetness to liven up the palate. Notes of Asian pear with honey crisp apple and dried mango.

2022 Palisade Rosé

The Palisade Rosé combines the refreshing acidity of a white with the bold body and flavor of a red to create a pool party or picnic’s best friend. Notes of strawberries and raspberries.

2022 Riesling

One of the first Rieslings to be produced in Colorado is back with a balance of sweetness and acidity. This includes notes of banana, peach, lychee, pear blossom and subtle white pepper. This off-dry wine displays dellightful fruitfulness on the palate.

2023 Palisade Red

Plum Creek’s Flagship Red will be returning in 2024! Keep an eye out for its release in the near future.
