Nestled in the heart of Palisade, Colorado, this winery is a true hidden gem—a place where rustic charm meets refined elegance against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bookcliffs. The moment you arrive, you're welcomed by the warm, inviting character of the building—its timeless architecture and vineyard surroundings exude a quiet sophistication that immediately puts you at ease. We indulged in their thoughtfully curated tasting menu, which was both reasonably priced and impressively versatile. Each pour—ranging from bright, expressive whites to bold, nuanced reds—reflected the distinct terroir of Palisade, making for an exclusive experience you won’t find elsewhere. To elevate the tasting, we enjoyed a beautifully arranged charcuterie board featuring pepperoni, salami, light crackers, and an artful selection of fruits, nuts, and cheeses including Dutch and Irish varieties. The addition of sour cherries and cherry jam was a delightful touch, perfectly harmonizing with the wine selections and enhancing each sip. What truly set this visit apart was the exceptional service. The staff were not only friendly and welcoming, but also deeply knowledgeable. Their personalized suggestions, tailored to our preferences, were spot-on and added a wonderful layer of depth to the entire experience. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply seeking a serene escape, this winery offers an atmosphere of relaxed elegance. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon under the shaded gazebos or in the cozy chairs scattered throughout the grounds, all while soaking in panoramic views and the gentle whisper of nature. A must-visit destination for anyone looking to unwind amidst beauty, flavor, and genuine hospitality. Adam SaplinMay 5, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Relaxing setting and delicious wines at a reasonable price. Their bottles are a steal. After being treated horribly by another winery we were so happy to come here and have a relaxed and happy afternoon. Super comfy Adirondack chairs and a nice lawn with fantastic views. We'll be back. Hands down the best and smartest wine tasting system I have experienced! Lovely people and easy spot to relax and especially if you are staying at Basecamp next door. Long story short my parents met the owners son while in Italy and told me to come by when in in the area (I live in South Denver). I cannot recommend this place enough! Great wine, great atmosphere, and for those of you with kids who love trains we saw TWO go by which was beyond exciting! Also v dog friendly as long as your dogs are friendly. There is a grass area to hang out on to let our human kids run wild and the dogs stretch their legs. Casita BernalNovember 2, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Classy & Warm. Ambiance of great staff that become friends. Any of their three locations is a wonderful visit.
